Buying a new PC is always exciting. Even if you aren’t a computer freak, it’s a great feeling having a new, fast and reliable PC. When it comes to choosing whether you will have a desktop PC or a laptop, it really depends on your lifestyle and what you want to do with your new PC. Gamers will most definitely take a desktop PC, as only few laptops are able to match the sheer power you get from a desktop configuration. If you travel a lot, a laptop is a much better solution for you.
The best solution would actually be having both a desktop PC and a laptop, so you use your desktop when you are home, and your laptop when you travel, or when you are sick and lying in bed, or just feel like lying instead of sitting. This is a nice choice for people who work from home, as you aren’t always in the mood to sit at your PC, and since you can work from home, nobody dictates you have to do it in a sitting position really. When buying a laptop, always check reviews, scores and user testimonials, and you can also check if there are certain problems with the series by searching for the name of the series and adding problem next to it.
This is a nice trick to determine if the laptop you want to buy is good or not. Also, when you need a computer repair, you shouldn’t open the laptop yourself, as your warranty will become invalid this way. The desktop is a bit more user friendly in this regard, as when something goes wrong, you can open it without worrying about the warranty (if you have assembled it yourself). So remember, laptops for traveling, desktops for gaming, and gaming laptops if you can afford them.
