Starting any business today requires it to have a website too. In order to build a website, you require a specific set of skills to set it up, and these include knowing HTML and some programming too. Of course, not everybody knows how to set up a website, and luckily for them, there are special services that deal with setting up websites and hosting them. Paying to any of these businesses varies, and it could be quite costly too. So, what exactly do you need to do if you want a website for a small price, and don’t plan to pay big money for it?
If you are starting a business, investing a large amount of money into a website wouldn’t be a wise choice if you are unsure whether your business will go good or not. Most people who are starting a business use some kind of templates and free themes first. Many of them will also use an open source framework, like Joomla, for instance. Joomla is an open source CMF (content management framework), meaning that anyone can use it freely. It’s written in PHP and uses techniques known as object oriented programming, or OOP for short. It’s used to publish different content to the internet or intranets, and it can also be use independently as a MVC (model view controller) Web application framework.
The first use of Joomla
Joomlas development goes back to the year 2005, when it was first developed as a fork of Mambo. Miro International Pvt Ltd. were the ones who trademarked Mambo and formed a non-profit foundation. The team that worked on development of Joomla claimed that there were certain aspects in this kind of foundation structure that went against the previous agrements that were made by the Mambo Steering Committee. After that, the development team of Joomla created a website called OpenSOurceMatters.org, and they distributed the information to users, web designers, community and developers alike. The support grew every day, and soon the name for the project was chosen – Joomla originated from Jumla, which means “as a whole” or “all together” in Swahili.
Using premium Joomla themes
Using Joomla to set up your website is quite easy, especially if you use templates. You can find many different websites that will offer you premium Joomla themes and templates, and one of them is joomplatemplates.org.za. It’s quite easy to navigate through the site, and you will find many categories that will allow you to narrow down your search in order to find the theme you like the most, and that would be most appropriate for your website. After you add to cart, you can buy it at a regular price, which is quite affordable, usually around fifty dollars, but you can also buy it out, meaning it will be removed from the website, making this design unique and only yours. Of course, these prices are much higher, so if you don’t mind that somebody else has the same design as you, you can just pay the regular price, if you do mind, you will cash out a bit more then.
